Chitapur village is located at 30 km from Darbha block of Bastar district, in which mostly tribal (Madia, Gond Muria) community lives. In this village work is being done to reduce malaria under Godrej EMBED Project, in which every month Behavior Change Facilitator (BCCF) visits every house of the village and gives information malaria, dengue. Village Bhairo nagala which is situated 20 km away from Badaun District. It is village which comes under sray pipariya gram panchayat. A small village with only 92 family resides consist of 1 bigger pond. It is our intervention village where malaria was one of the biggest challenges. In year 2019, 2020, 2021 malaria cases were found. As per EMBED team survey 4 pits are in the village. One pit which was nearby government tap facility and it was major source of mosquito breading. Mungapar is a small village 35 km away from Kondagaon. Most of the family depend on the farming.  Kaushal deewan’s family doesn’t believe in modern medicine they always go to traditional local healer for any treatment. During home visit our team got to know about his fever, they immediately called Mitanin (ASHA), test done by RDK and he was malaria positive (PV malaria).  After counselling he agreed to take medicine provided by ASHA, based on malaria treatment protocols.  He was under observation in BCCF and ASHA for 2-3 hours, then suddenly he complained about headache and vomiting. Ganeshpur village is 54 kms away from district headquarter; located at Ramnagar block, Bareilly. Village has 51 families with total population of 381 as per our resource mapping. Ganeshpur is one of the most affected villages among the district with malaria fever since last four years. Most of the fever cases are treated by RHCPs (rural Health care Providers) or private doctor without testing and malaria treatment protocols. People have less faith in government health facilities that medicines are not useful and harm to body. Roopanwara is a remote village around 60 km away from district head quarter of Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh. 215 families are living in the village, very few community members were aware about vector born disease and the role of mosquito to spreading the disease. During the listing and mapping survey EMBED team learned that only 5 families have heard about malaria and very few were using bed net. In this sequence, when the village chaupal was being done by the worker of Embed project through home contact on 09/09/2021, there is a big pit near the road seen in Patelpara of Dhodrepal village, which filled with water for several days. Due to this, mosquito larvae had grown in abundance in it, this pit was near the houses of the residents there.
