K.D.A Colony Rampuram, Kanpur is a semi posh area. which comes under embed project. BCCF is doing source reduction at this place due to Zika control and awareness campaign. During the survey, BCCF visited Ram Bahadur Singh who is not supportive and not willing to share any information about fever or any source of mosquito breeding place.
Continuous efforts done by BCCF by showing IEC/BCC poster to Ram Bahadur and explained very calmly everything related to dengue malaria and zika. The strenuous efforts of BCCF succeeded in changing the behaviour of Ram Bahadur. Ram Bahadur showed interest and agreed to do testing of pregnant woman of his family and gave access to team to check larva sources of the house. Team has checked coolers and other containers of his house and destroyed larva sources.
